Yoga is not about perfection. It's not about twisting yourself into a pretzel.

It's about practice.

Practicing movement.  Practicing breath.  Practicing finding peace in the chaos of real life.

Let's be honest, our lives are chaotic!  We rush from one commitment to another with nary a moment to breathe much less pay attention to or appreciate the moment.

Chances are our lives are not going to change, so we have to change the way we interact with and respond to our lives.

This is where yoga comes in. 

We get on our mats and purposefully put our bodies in challenging postures, then practice quieting our minds through our breath.

By practicing on our mats, we learn how to be off our mats as well.

Life is practice. Not perfection.
